The Mooncake festival (also known as Mid-Autumn festival) is a traditional East Asian celebration of family reunion, gratitude and the full moon. It falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar calendar - when the moon is said to be at its fullest and brightest 🌕 Lanterns are a big part of the festival - it symbolises light, hope and the wish for a bright future.
